Celem prezentowanej pracy jest analiza oddziaływań wad wymowy na różne aspekty życia człowieka, zwłaszcza jego funkcjonowanie społeczno-emocjonalne. Praca składa się z 3 rozdziałów. W części teoretycznej zamieszczone zostały ustalenia dotyczące nieprawidłowości w mowie, ich klasyfikacje oraz etiologia. Wskazano również znaczenie poprawnej wymowy w codziennym funkcjonowaniu. W rozdziale drugim przedstawiono metodologię badań własnych, a w trzecim wyniki badań oraz ich analizę. W celu ukazania wpływu wad wymowy na życie człowieka, przeprowadzono badanie na grupie 151 osób. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, iż zaburzenia artykulacji są źródłem ograniczeń komunikacyjnych. Większość respondentów stwierdziła, że wada wymowy utrudnia ich interakcje społeczne, jest też źródłem stresu, wpływa negatywnie na samoocenę oraz samopoczucie emocjonalne.

The aim of the presented work is to analyze the impact of speech disorders on various aspects of a person's life, especially their socio-emotional functioning. The work consists of three chapters. The theoretical part includes findings regarding speech abnormalities, their classifications, and etiology. It also highlights the importance of correct pronunciation in everyday functioning. The second chapter presents the methodology of the author's own research, and the third chapter contains the research results and their analysis. To demonstrate the influence of speech disorders on a person's life, a study was conducted on a group of 151 individuals. The research findings indicate that articulation disorders are a source of communication limitations. Most respondents stated that speech defects hinder their social interactions, are a source of stress, and negatively affect self-esteem and emotional well-being.
