La representación del duelo y la melancolía en el cine de Pedro Almodóvar: el caso de Todo sobre mi madre, Volver y La piel que habito

Ta praca naukowa analizuje reprezentację i opracowanie żałoby i melancholii w wybranych filmach Pedro Almodóvara. Jako ramy teoretyczne wykorzystano prace Zygmunta Freuda, Julii Kristevej i Judith Butler na temat żałoby, analizuje się narracyjne i estetyczne strategie filmu jako reprezentacje różnych stanów i etapów procesu żałoby, od początkowej dewastacji po możliwość rekonfiguracji życia po traumatycznej stracie. Poprzez szczegółową analizę postaci i ich trajektorii emocjonalnych bada się w jaki sposób Almodóvar wizualizuje procesy psychiczne związane ze stratą, melancholią i rekonstrukcją tożsamości.

This academic work analyses the representation and elaboration of grief and melancholy in selected films by Pedro Almodóvar. Using the theoretical framework provided by Sigmund Freud, Julia Kristeva, and Judith Butler on grief, the narrative and aesthetic strategies of the film are analysed as representations of the different states of the grieving process, from initial devastation to the possibility of rebuilding one's life after traumatic loss. Through a detailed analysis of the characters and their emotional trajectories, it studies how Almodóvar visualises the psychological processes related to loss, melancholy and identity reconstruction.

Este trabajo académico analiza la representación y elaboración del duelo y la melancolía en las películas selectas de Pedro Almodóvar. Utilizando como marco teórico las aportaciones de Sigmund Freud, Julia Kristeva y Judith Butler sobre el duelo, se analizan las estrategias narrativas y estéticas de la película como representaciones de los distintos estados y etapas del trabajo de duelo, desde la devastación inicial hasta la posibilidad de reconfiguración vital tras la pérdida traumática. A través de un análisis detallado de los personajes y sus trayectorias emocionales, se estudia cómo Almodóvar visualiza los procesos psíquicos relacionados con la pérdida, la melancolía y la reconstrucción identitaria.
