Représentations du français, de l’anglais et des cours de langues étrangères chez les adolescents

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej było zbadanie reprezentacji języka francuskiego i angielskiego oraz idealnej lekcji języka obcego wśród nastolatków. W badaniach wykorzystano metodę ankietową, przeprowadzając kwestionariusze wśród uczniów szkoły podstawowej, oraz przeprowadzając z nimi wywiady indywidualne. Analiza wyników wykazała, że myślenie nastolatków o językach jest bardzo stereotypowe, a ich wizja idealnej lekcji języka obcego odbiega od tego z czym spotykają się w szkołach. Wnioski z badań sugerują potrzebę edukacji na temat różnorodności języków obcych oraz konieczność kształcenia nauczycieli, aby mogli nauczać w bardziej skuteczny i atrakcyjny dla uczniów sposób.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to examine the representation of the French language, the English language, and the ideal foreign language lesson among teenagers. The research employed a survey method, administering questionnaires among primary school students and conducting individual interviews with them. The analysis of the results showed that teenagers' perceptions of languages are very stereotypical, and their vision of an ideal foreign language lesson differs significantly from what they experience in schools. The conclusions suggest the need for education on the diversity of foreign languages and the necessity of training teachers to teach in a more effective way for students.

L'objectif de ce mémoire de licence était d'examiner les représentations de la langue française et de la langue anglaise ainsi que des cours de langues étrangères idéaux chez les adolescents. Dans la recherche nous avons utilisé un questionnaire d'enquête, adressé aux élèves de l'école primaire et nous avons mené des entretiens individuels avec eux. L'analyse des résultats a montré que les représentations des langues sont très stéréotypées et que leur vision des cours de langue étrangère idéaux diffère considérablement de ce qu'ils vivent à l'école. Les conclusions suggèrent la nécessité d'éduquer sur la diversité des langues étrangères et la nécessité de former les enseignants pour qu'ils puissent enseigner de manière plus efficace pour les élèves.
