Konstrukty dzieciństwa i dorosłości w mandze oraz anime na przykładach wybranych shōnenów

Celem pracy jest ukazanie rozumienia kategorii dzieciństwa i dorosłości, traktowanych jako konstrukty społeczne tworzone przez literaturę w równym stopniu łączącą, co dzielącą pokolenia – mangę. Konkretnie gatunku, który polega na dostarczeniu wizji dorastania, czyli shōnenie. Praca zawiera interpretację i charakteryzację konstruktów w kontekście kulturowych studiów nad dzieciństwem. Koncentruję się głównie na pięciu reprezentatywnych przykładach mang/anime, ale kontekstowo wspominam również inne teksty, aby porównać wynikające z lektury treści do teorii naukowych. Punktem wyjścia pracy jest założenie, że w omawianych anime konstrukty dorosłości i dzieciństwa są dekonstruowane czy zaburzone, co może wpływać na popularność gatunku i stać się podstawą do dalszej refleksji (czytelnik nie chce czytać o stereotypowych kategoriach dzieciństwa i dorosłości). Przedmiotem analizy są teksty, w których centrum znajdują się aspekty, takie jak kulturowe ujęcie dorosłości i dzieciństwa, ich wzajemny wpływ i relacja dziecko-dorosły.

The aim of this dissertation is to show an understanding of the categories of childhood and adulthood, treated as social constructs created by a literature that unites as much as it divides generations - manga. Specifically, a genre that involves providing a vision of adolescence, namely shōnen. The study interprets and characterises the constructs in the context of cultural studies on childhood. I focus mainly on five representative examples of manga/anime, but contextually mention other texts as well, in order to compare the resulting content from the reading to scientific theories. The starting point of the dissertation is the assumption that in the anime in question the constructs of adulthood and childhood are reconstructed or disrupted, which may influence the popularity of the genre and become a basis for further reflection (the reader does not want to read about stereotypical categories of childhood and adulthood). The object of analysis is texts with aspects such as the literary and cultural representation of adulthood and childhood, their mutual influence and the child-adult relationship at their centre.
