Do zebrania danych wykorzystano autorskie kwestionariusze wywiadu dostosowany do specyfiki pracy trzech grup respondentów: nauczycieli wspomagających, nauczycieli wiodących i psychologów.

The aim of this study was to assess the significance of an inclusive preschool environment in shaping the socio-emotional competencies of children on the autism spectrum. The specific research questions focused on identifying the most frequently observed socio-emotional difficulties within this group, analyzing the methods and strategies employed by teachers and psychologists, evaluating their effectiveness, and assessing the overall environment of inclusive educational institutions.

To collect data, custom-designed interview questionnaires were used, tailored to the specific roles of three groups of respondents: support teachers, lead teachers, and psychologists.

The research demonstrated that inclusive preschools offer comprehensive and professional support, tailored to the capabilities and needs of children on the autism spectrum. Teachers and psychologists employ a range of interventions targeted at fostering socio-emotional competencies, which yield the desired outcomes. A critical factor in this process is the close collaboration of the pedagogical staff and the provision of an appropriately organized educational and therapeutic environment. The study also revealed certain challenges, such as excessively large group sizes and limited staffing resources, which indicate that despite its numerous advantages, the inclusive model may not always be the most suitable solution for every child on the autism spectrum.
