Les représentations de la culture française et francophone dans des manuels sélectionnés de français langue étrangère en Pologne

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza przejawów kultury francuskiej i kultury frankofońskiej oraz zmierzenie częstotliwości ich występowania w kilku wybranych do analizy podręcznikach do nauki języka francuskiego jako obcego, opracowanych i używanych w Polsce. Ponadto, celem tej pracy jest ustalenie stosunku ilości reprezentacji kultury francuskiej do ilości reprezentacji kultury krajów i regionów frankofońskich oraz określenie obrazu tych kultur, jaki się z nich wyłania. Reprezentacje kultury francuskiej w społeczeństwie polskim są stale powielane przez kino, media społecznościowe (Siaud, 2021), ale również przez podręczniki do nauki języka francuskiego jako obcego. Cechy przypisywane w Polsce kulturze francuskiej mają charakter stereotypowy i odnoszą się do wybranych dziedzin życia kulturalnego. Istotnym zagadnieniem jest również sposób przedstawiania Frankofonii – niektórzy autorzy podręczników marginalizują kultury frankofońskie, podczas gdy inni starają się ukazać bogactwo kulturowe krajów i regionów frankofońskich.

The objective of the present dissertation is to analyse the expressions of French culture and Francophone culture as well as to measure the frequency of their appearance in selected textbooks for learning French as a foreign language designed and used in Poland. Moreover, the aim of the dissertation is to determine the ratio between the number of representations of French culture and the number of representations of the cultures of Francophone countries and regions, as well as to define the image of these cultures that emerges from them. The representations of French culture are constantly perpetuated by cinema, social media (Siaud, 2021), but also by the textbooks for learning French as a foreign language. The traits attributed in Poland to French culture are stereotypical in nature and relate to selected fields of cultural life. The manner of presentation of Francophone culture is a significant question - some authors of the textbooks marginalise Francophone cultures while others seek to present the cultural richness of the Francophone countries and regions.

L’objectif du présent travail est d’analyser les traces de la culture française et francophone, ainsi que de mesurer la fréquence de son apparition dans quelques manuels de français langue étrangère conçus et utilisés en Pologne. En outre, le but de ce travail est d’identifier le rapport entre le nombre des représentations de la culture française et le nombre des représentations de la culture des pays et régions francophones, de même que de définir l’image de ces cultures qui s’en dégage. Les représentations de la culture française dans la société polonaise sont multipliées sans cesse par le cinéma, les réseaux sociaux (Siaud, 2021), mais aussi par les manuels de français langue étrangère. Les traits attribués en Pologne à la culture française ont un caractère stéréotypé et ils se rapportent aux quelques domaines de la vie culturelle. Une question importante est également la manière de présenter la Francophonie - certains auteurs des manuels marginalisent les cultures francophones, tandis que les autres tentent de montrer la richesse culturelle des pays et régions francophones.
