Literatura rozproszona jako forma publikacji cyfrowej. Studium przypadku The Interface Series i SCP Foundation

Praca omawia literaturę rozproszoną jako formę publikacji cyfrowej, w której utwór nie ma jednej stabilnej postaci ani jednego miejsca występowania. Tego typu narracje funkcjonują jako układy komentarzy, wpisów, stron wiki, linków, przewodników oraz kompilacji. Celem pracy jest pokazanie, że ich znaczenie wynika nie tylko z fabuły, ale także ze sposobu publikacji, infrastruktury platform oraz działań użytkowników. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono komunikację bibliologiczną w środowisku sieciowym oraz zaproponowano pojęcie paratekstów infrastrukturalnych. Są to elementy, które nie należą bezpośrednio do fabuły, ale umożliwiają dostęp do niej: tagi, indeksy, przewodniki, archiwa, komentarze objaśniające oraz materiały popularyzatorskie. Osobny rozdział poświęcono użytkownikowi, który w literaturze rozproszonej może pełnić funkcję kuratora, archiwisty, redaktora, tłumacza lub pośrednika. Część analityczna obejmuje dwa studia przypadku: The Interface Series oraz SCP Foundation. The Interface Series pokazuje model narracji rozproszonej w komentarzach Reddita, a następnie scalanej przez społeczność. SCP Foundation reprezentuje natomiast model wiki, w którym rozproszenie jest od początku porządkowane przez numerację, tagi, huby oraz zasady wspólnotowej redakcji. Analiza prowadzi do wniosku, że w literaturze rozproszonej platforma nie jest neutralnym miejscem publikacji, lecz współtworzy fabułę, klimat i sposób lektury.

The thesis discusses dispersed literature as a form of digital publication in which a work has neither one stable form nor one place of occurrence. Narratives of this type function as systems of comments, posts, wiki pages, links, guides, and compilations. The aim of the thesis is to show that their meaning results not only from the plot, but also from the mode of publication, the infrastructure of platforms, and the activities of users. The theoretical part presents bibliological communication in the online environment and proposes the concept of infrastructural paratexts. These are elements that do not belong directly to the plot but enable access to it: tags, indexes, guides, archives, explanatory comments, and popularizing materials. A separate chapter is devoted to the user, who in dispersed literature may perform the role of a curator, archivist, editor, translator, or intermediary. The analytical part includes two case studies: The Interface Series and SCP Foundation. The Interface Series shows a model of narrative dispersed in Reddit comments and then consolidated by the community. SCP Foundation, on the other hand, represents a wiki model in which dispersion is organized from the beginning through numbering, tags, hubs, and the rules of community editing. The analysis leads to the conclusion that in dispersed literature the platform is not a neutral place of publication but co-creates the plot, atmosphere, and reading experience.
