Ciało, serce i dusza. Oblicza miłości w twórczości „pięknych pisarek” (meinü zuojia)

Niniejszą pracę poświęcono analizie zagadnienia miłości w twórczości wybranych reprezentantek chińskiej grupy literackiej pięknych pisarek. Wei Hui, Mian Mian i Zhou Jieru na scenie literackiej zadebiutowały w latach dziewięćdziesiątych XX wieku, w okresie dynamicznego rozwoju Chin i wzmożonego zainteresowania kulturą Zachodu. Utwory autorek powstawały pod jej wpływem i uwagę publiczności zwracały przede wszystkim otwartym podejściem do seksualności. Oprócz miłości cielesnej w literaturze ważną rolę odgrywa sfera emocjonalna, objawiająca się nieustającą tęsknotą bohaterów do bliskości drugiego człowieka. W twórczości Wei Hui dostrzec można natomiast fascynację duchową tradycją Chin, a miłość opisywana jest również w jej kontekście. Celem pracy jest zatem zbadanie trzech wymienionych aspektów miłości w utworach pisarek: cielesnego, emocjonalnego i duchowego.

The thesis aims to analyze the question of love in the works of selected representatives of the Chinese literary group known as the beauty writers. Wei Hui, Mian Mian and Zhou Jieru made their debut in the literary world in the 1990s, at the time of China's dynamic development and increased interest in the Western culture. The authors, influenced by the West, garnered a lot of public attention with their open approach to sexuality. However, the emotional realm plays an equally important role in their texts with its characters' constant longing for intimacy. Additionally, Wei Hui showcases interest in the Chinese spirituality and contextualizes love within it. Therefore, the purpose of the thesis is to explore the physical, emotional and spiritual realms of love in the writers' literature.
