Praca Obraz Ameryki we wspomnieniach Marleny Dietrich i Marii Rivy skupia się na przedstawieniu obrazu Stanów Zjednoczonych oraz problematyki emigracji na podstawie analizy wspomnień obydwu autorek. Studium zostało podzielone na cztery główne części. Pierwsza z nich zawiera wprowadzenie do wizerunku Ameryki w literaturze biograficznej oraz emigracyjnej, a także omawia dotychczasowy stan badań i metodologię wykorzystaną do przeprowadzenia analizy. Druga składa się z trzech rozdziałów: pierwszy przybliża biografie obu artystek, podczas gdy drugi i trzeci pokazują obraz Ameryki wyłaniający się z tekstów autobiograficznych obydwu aktorek. Trzecia część poświęcona została podsumowaniu wniosków, natomiast czwarta zawiera wykaz literatury podmiotu i przedmiotu oraz innych źródeł wykorzystanych w pracy.

The thesis The Image of America in the Memories of Marlene Dietrich and Maria Riva focuses on portraying the image of the United States and the complexities of emigration based on an analysis of the memoirs of both authors. The study is divided into four main parts. The first part provides an introduction to the image of America in biographical and migrant literature, and discusses the current state of research and the methodology used to conduct the analysis. The second part consists of three chapters: the first presents the biographies of both artists, while the second and third illustrate the image of America emerging from the autobiographical texts of both actresses. The third part is dedicated to summarizing the conclusions, and the fourth part contains a bibliography of primary and secondary sources, as well as other references used in the work.

Die Arbeit „Das Amerikabild in den Erinnerungen von Marlene Dietrich und Maria Riva“ konzentriert sich auf die Darstellung des Bildes der Vereinigten Staaten und die Auseinandersetzung mit der Problematik der Emigration. Analysiert werden die Erinnerungen beider Autorinnen. Die Studie ist in vier Hauptteile gegliedert. Der erste Teil führt in die Problematik der Arbeit ein, erörtert den aktuellen Forschungsstand und die in weiteren Abschnitten verwendete Methodologie. Der zweite Teil besteht aus drei Kapiteln: Das erste stellt die Biografien der beiden Künstlerinnen dar, während das zweite und das dritte das Amerikabild zeigen, das aus der Analyse der autobiografischen Texte der beiden Schauspielerinnen hervorgeht. Der dritte Teil widmet sich der Zusammenfassung der Schlussfolgerungen, und der vierte Teil enthält ein Verzeichnis der Primär- und Sekundärliteratur sowie der anderen Quellen.
