The article suggests a new wave in Hebrew literature which is called the Diasporic Turn. It points to a new phenomenon in Hebrew literature today, a growing interest and curiosity concerning the Jewish life in the Diaspora. In contrast to the negation of the Diaspora, which was a leading idea in the Zionist ideology and in the meta-plot of Hebrew literature, one can lately observe a kind of affirmation of the Diaspora. It is an imagined Diaspora of native Israeli writers who are trying to reconstruct the lost world of their ancestors and perhaps also express longing for a culture and language that vanished.
