Terytorialny wymiar innowacji – od problemów analitycznych do dylematów strategicznych

The article addresses the issue of the territorial dimension of innovation both from the point of view of the analytical issues as well as the problems facing the authorities of Polish voivodeships. Although the concepts of spatial conditions for conducting innovative activities such as „innovation environment“, „regional innovation systems“ have been known for many years, relatively recent „territorialisation of development policies“ has significantly strengthened the interest in the territory and its features also in the policies of the regional authorities. The intra-regional perceptions of differentiation in terms of the development of innovation should lead intra-regional development policies towards local innovation systems.
