Abstrakt (EN)

The Old Believersí Russian dialect has been under the influence of the Polish language for over a century. Many features characteristic for the Belarussian language (dialects) are observed in the ìPolishî Old Believersí speech, that results from the territorial closeness of the Old Believersí homeland to the compact Belarussian language territory, as well as because of the contact with the Belarussian language (and with Belarussian dialects). The main aim of this article is to present the prepositions that denote time refernces in the local dialect of the Old Believers in Poland and to describe their semantic, syntactic and pragmatic characteristics. In the investigated ìPolishî Old Believersí narratives, we observed many examples of prepositionalcase constructions which meaning is typical for their indigenous dialects, as well as for the Belarussian language and dialects. We also observed many examples of the use of prepositional constructions, which can be considered as a result of the Polish influence on the Old Believersí Russian dialect in Poland.
