Transformacja książki artystycznej w erze technologii cyfrowych: ewolucja form i przestrzeni narracyjnych

W artykule Transformacja książki artystycznej w erze technologii cyfrowych: ewolucja form i przestrzeni narracyjnych podjęto rozważania na temat zmian zachodzących w formie, treści oraz odbiorze książki artystycznej pod wpływem nowoczesnych technologii. Przemiany te związane są z rozwojem narzędzi cyfrowych, generatywnych algorytmów oraz technologii rozszerzonej rzeczywistości. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie różnic pomiędzy tradycyjną a cyfrową książką artystyczną oraz ukazanie nowych możliwości narracyjnych i estetycznych, jakie niesie za sobą zastosowanie technologii cyfrowych. W artykule omówiono również wpływ cyfryzacji na zwiększenie dostępności książek artystycznych poprzez archiwizację cyfrową oraz działalność nowoczesnych platform internetowych. Analizie poddano wybrane przykłady współczesnych książek artystycznych, takie jak projekt Between Page and Screen Amaranthy Borsuk i Brada Bouse’a, oraz inicjatywy archiwizacyjne jak MoMA czy platforma Google Arts & Culture. W artykule zaprezentowano nowe modele interakcji z książką artystyczną, wskazano na zmieniającą się rolę artysty i odbiorcy oraz podkreślono, w jaki sposób technologia kształtuje nowe przestrzenie twórcze. Opracowanie uzupełnia istniejące badania dotyczące cyfryzacji sztuki książki oraz otwiera perspektywy dalszych studiów nad transformacją tego medium w kontekście współczesnych przemian kulturowych i technologicznych.

The article The Transformation of the Artist’s Book in the Digital Age: The Evolution of Form and the Emergence of New Narrative Spaces examines the changes in the form, content, and reception of the artist’s book brought about by the development of modern technologies. These transformations are driven by the adoption of digital tools, gener- ative algorithms, and augmented reality technologies. The aim of this study is to present the differences between traditional and digital forms of the artist’s book and to highlight the new narrative and aesthetic possibilities made possible by the integration of digital technologies. The article also addresses the impact of digitization on the accessibility of artist’s books through digital archiving initiatives and contemporary online platforms. The mate- rial analyzed includes selected contemporary examples of artist’s books, such as Between Page and Screen by Amarantha Borsuk and Brad Bouse, along with archiving initiatives such as MoMA and the Google Arts & Culture platform. The article discusses new models of interaction with the artist’s book, identifies the evolving roles of the artist and the audience, and emphasizes how technology shapes emerging creative spaces. This study complements existing research on the digiti- zation of book art and opens new avenues for further inquiry into the transformation of this medium within contemporary cultural and technological contexts.
