Sanar las heridas del pasado. La imagen de la familia colombiana y el tema del trauma transgeneracional en la película Encanto de Disney.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przeprowadzenie analizy tematu traumy pokoleniowej oraz obrazu kolumbijskiej rodziny dotkniętej traumą przedstawionych w filmie Nasze magiczne Encanto produkcji Disneya. Opiera się ona na koncepcji psychologii literatury i sztuki jako takiej, będącej przedmiotem badań postaci takich jak Freud i Jung. Część teoretyczna porusza temat traumy z perspektywy psychologicznej. Ponadto, zgłębia się kwestie dysfunkcyjnych modeli rodzinnych i tendencji charakteryzujących społeczności latynoamerykańskie. Następnie, analizuje się historie wybranych bohaterów filmu, które obrazują możliwe skutki negatywnych wzorców panujących w strukturze rodziny. Podczas interpretacji pod uwagę brana jest zarówno fabuła, jak i sposób skonstruowania postaci oraz piosenki pojawiające się w filmie. Analizie poddaje się także strategię przyjętą przez Disney dotyczącą zilustrowania procesu przerwania cyklu traumy pokoleniowej.

This study aims to offer an analysis of the theme of generational trauma and the image of the Colombian family affected by trauma presented in Encanto, a movie produced by Disney. It is based of the concept of the psychology of literature and art as such, the object of study of figures such as Freud and Jung. Firstly, the topic of trauma is approached from a psychological perspective. In addition, the problem of dysfuncional family models and some general tendencies characteristic of Latin American families are explored. Then, the focus is on the stories of four protagonists that reflect the effects of negative family patterns. The interpretation includes the plot of Encanto, the way in which the characters are constructed and the songs that appear in the movie. Finally, there is an analysis of the strategy adopted by Disney to depict the process of breaking the cycle of generational trauma.

Este trabajo pretende ofrecer un análisis del tema del trauma transgeneracional y de la imagen de la familia colombiana afectada por el trauma presentes en la película Encanto de Disney. Se basa en el concepto de psicología de la literatura y el arte como tal, objeto de estudio de figuras como Freud y Jung. La parte teórica aborda el tema del trauma desde una perspectiva psicológica. Además, se plantea la cuestión de los modelos de familia disfuncionales y algunas tendencias generales propias de las familias latinoamericanas. A continuación, el estudio se centra en las historias de los cuatro protagonistas que reflejan los efectos de patrones familiares negativos. Se interpreta la trama, el modo de construcción de los personajes y las canciones que aparecen en la película. Se examina también el proceso de ruptura del ciclo del trauma generacional ilustrado por Disney.
