To India and Lithuania through Soviet Picture Books

Opisuje on treść rozprawy w kontekście badań nad książką obrazkową (zwłaszcza rosyjską, litewską i radziecką), historią dzieciństwa i literatury rosyjskiej. Główną zaletą tomu, zdaniem recenzentki, jest wybór Indii i Litwy do porównania, które jest dokonane z perspektywy historii literatury, sztuki, społeczeństw i rozumienia dzieciństwa.

The review article discusses a book by Giedrė Jankevičiūtė and V. Geetha, Another History of the Children’s Picture Book: From Soviet Lithuania to India (2017).
