La imagen de la maternidad en Las madres no de Katixa Agirre

Niniejsza praca analizuje obraz macierzyństwa w powieści Las madres no Katixy Agirre. Punktem wyjściowym pracy jest zaproponowany przez autorkę dialog z wszechobecnym w kulturze patriarchalnej przedstawieniem macierzyństwa jako natury i największego marzenia każdej kobiety. Na podstawie teorii feministycznych (de Beauvoir, Rich, Lagarde, Gawron) wyróżnione zostały cztery główne problemy dotyczące macierzyństwa: osobowość matki, depresja poporodowa, bezpłodność oraz dzieciobójstwo, które posłużyły do analizy książki Agirre. Celem pracy jest ukazanie w jaki sposób pisarka dekonstruuje obecny w naszej kulturze stygmat złej matki poprzez ukazanie sylwetek dwóch matek, które nie wpisują się w patriarchalną konwencję dobrej matki: Alice, matki dzieciobójczyni oraz narratorki, która polemizując ze społecznym postrzeganiem złej matki, proponuje nowe podejście do bycia malamadre (Lagarde).

This work analyzes the image of motherhood in the novel Mothers Don't by Katixa Agirre. The starting point of the work is the dialogue proposed by the author with the ubiquitous presentation of motherhood in patriarchal culture as the nature and greatest dream of every woman. Based on feminist theories (de Beauvoir, Rich, Lagarde, Gawron), four main problems regarding motherhood were distinguished: mother's personality, postpartum depression, infertility and infanticide, which were used to analyze Agirre's book. The aim of the work is to show how the writer deconstructs the stigma of a bad mother present in our culture by showing the profiles of two mothers who do not fit the patriarchal convention of a good mother: Alice, an infanticide mother, and the narrator, who, arguing with the social perception of a bad mother, proposes a new approach to being a malamadre (Lagarde).

Este trabajo analiza la imagen de la maternidad en la novela Las madres no de Katixa Agirre. El punto de partida es el diálogo que propone la autora con la presentación de la maternidad en la cultura patriarcal como la naturaleza y el mayor sueño de cada mujer. A partir de las teorías feministas (de Beauvoir, Rich, Lagarde, Gawron), se distinguieron cuatro problemas principales relacionados con la maternidad: la identidad de la madre, la depresión posparto, la infertilidad y el infanticidio, que sirvieron para llevar a cabo el análisis de la maternidad en el libro de Agirre. El objetivo del trabajo es mostrar cómo la escritora deconstruye el estigma de mala madre presente en nuestra cultura mostrando los perfiles de dos madres que no encajan en la convención patriarcal de una buena madre: Alice, una madre infanticida, y la narradora, que dialogando con la percepción social de una mala madre, propone una nueva forma de ser malamadre (Lagarde).
