Antosha pervyj raz v Moskve. Deiatelnost Antoni Fertnera v russkom nemom kino

In the article an attempt is made to reveal the Antoni Fertner’s creative work, who was one of the forgotten Polish actors of silent films. His heritage has not been studied yet fully by dramatic historians and film experts. One of the least studied stages of the actor’s artistic path is his work at the Russian cinema. The article is aimed at restoration of artistic biographic facts, determination of the connection with the Russian culture. The analysis covers Fertner’s parts, which were created in Moscow film studios in the period of 1915-1918. The paper describes the cooperation of the actor with Pola Negri, Vera Karalli, Edward Puchalski, Dmitry Khanzhonkov and other outstanding personalities of the epoch. The author answers the question – what was the phenomenon of the actor’s creativity and his importance in the Russian cinema.

В статье предпринята попытка приоткрыть страницу творчества Антони Фертнера, одного из забытых польских актеров немого кино. Его наследие до сих пор не полностью изучено театроведами и киноведами. Одним из наименее исследованных этапов художественного пути актера является его деятельность в русском кино. Цель статьи – восстановить факты артистической биографии, указать связь с русской культурой. Анализ охватывает роли Фертнера, созданные в московских киностудиях в периоде 1915- 1918 годов. В публикации описано сотрудничество актера с Поли Негри, Верой Каралли, Эдвардом Пухальским, Дмитрием Ханжонковым и другими выдающимися индивидуальностями эпохи. Автор отвечает на вопрос – в чем заключался феномен творчества артиста и его востребованности в русском кино.
