Nad trumną bohatera romantycznego

The article is an analysis and interpretation of Juliusz Słowacki’s Kordian directed by Jakub Skrzywanek at the Polish Theatre in Poznań in January 2018. Although it is a discussion with romantic stereotypesand myths, rather than another classical staging of the play, Skrzywanek’s staging is one of the most interesting voices in the Kordian case in years.This essay is an attempt to reconstruct the performance on the basis of it sreviews and statements of the staging’s creators.
