Nieważne głosy w wyborach parlamentarnych w Polsce w latach 2001-2015 z perspektywy badań geograficzno-politycznych

The topic of invalid votes in the parliamentary elections is not so popular as invalid votes in the municipal elections. There is very few maps about this topic and even less statistical analysis. Nevertheless, this phenomenon exists in all elections, not only local ones. In this article I would like to describe the main spatial patterns in invalid votes’ phenomenon. I also try to characterize the spatial variability of the invalid votes in the past 15 years. The basis of my analyses are new election maps prepared in the principal units of the administrative division and statistics (including Pearson’s correlation of invalid votes with voter turnout).
