Badanie twórczości Stefana Themersona wobec wyzwań współczesnej komparatystyki

The article aims to identify the main research paths concerning the legacy of Stefan Themerson – both those that have been pursued so far and those representing a gap to be filled. Areas such as Themerson’s works in the context of world literature, the writer’s bilingualism, his correspondence, essayistic writings, and publishing activities are considered. His works present a number of challenges for researchers, requiring an interdisciplinary and holistic approach that takes into account not only the literary legacy but also the detailed historical, cultural, and biographical context, his essayistic output, personal documents, and artistic realizations in various media.
