D 8.8 Data Management Plan
Abstrakt (EN)
Deliverable 8.8 (D 8.8) Data Management Plan (DMP) describes the data management life cycle during and beyond TRAIN4EU’s lifetime. The DMP is in compliance with the ORDP: Open Research Data Pilot requirement for Horizon 2020 funded projects. In line with the ORDP, the DMP follows the principle "as open as possible, as closed as necessary". D 8.8 is the initial DMP outlining the planned management of data collected, processed and generated as part of the various TRAIN4EU work packages (WPs). Activities in the WPs will be rolled out in September 2021 [M9], and divergent data management conditions might emerge within WPs. A first update of the DMP will be provided as D 8.9 in M23, taking into account lessons learned and significant data developments within and beyond the project. A second and final DMP update will be provided as D 8.10 in M35. The DMP aims to develop and ensure good management of data during and after the end of TRAIN4EU. It will focus on data collection, processing and generation, methodologies and standards applied, data sharing and secure storage within and beyond the project, as well as data preservation after the project ends. A main objective of the DMP is to describe how TRAIN4EU data will be made FAIR – findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable.
