Pomiędzy oporem a asymilacją: strategie queer w polskim filmie po 1989

dc.abstract.enThis dissertation is not an analytical list of Polish films about LGBTQ + individuals. Its main thesis is built around the observation that the representations and emanations of non-heteronormativity in the films I have selected are shaped by three "queer" strategies: 1) normalizing, 2) abstracting, and 3) ambivalent. I devote a separate chapter to each of them in the analytical part, where I present and develop the above claim to analyze several films made in Poland in the years 1989–2015. My analysis is framed within the parameters of what I call "queer reading," an intersectional framework detecting and describing the normalization and naturalization mechanisms of (hetero) normativity, ones that are implicated in non-(hetero)normative content and meanings produced by selected films, including those describing gender and sexual expressions. "Queer reading", and therefore "queer writing," consists in tracking and describing manifestations of non-heteronormativity on the screen, as well as analyzing the discourses that generate them. The dissertation is divided into two core sections: and the glossary consisting of the key theoretical concepts and the analysis of the above queer strategies.
dc.abstract.plMoja praca nie jest analitycznym spisem polskich filmów o osobach LGBTQ+. Główną tezą tekstu jest obserwacja, według której reprezentacje i emanacje nieheteronormatywności, w wybranych przeze mnie filmach, kształtowane są poprzez trzy strategie „queer”: 1) normalizującą, 2) uabstrakcyjniającą i 3) uambiwalentniającą. Każdej z nich poświęcam osobny rozdział w części analitycznej, gdzie przedstawiam i rozwijam powyższe twierdzenie poprzez zastosowanie „czytania queerowego” i/lub „queerującego” do analizy wybranych filmów powstałych w Polsce w latach 1989–2015. Czytanie queerowe/queerujące polega na intersekcjonalnej analizie mechanizmów normalizacji i naturalizacji (hetero)normatywności, które są uwikłane w nie(hetero)normatywne treści i znaczenia wytwarzane poprzez wybrane filmy, a w tym te opisujące ekspresje płciowe i seksualne. „Czytanie”, a wraz z nim „pisanie” queerowe/queerujące polega na tropieniu i opisie manifestacji nieheteronormatywności na ekranie, jak i analizie dyskursów je wytwarzających. Metoda badawcza, którą stosuję, jest uwarunkowana przez szereg konceptów teoretycznych i strategii opisanych w dwóch głównych sekcjach niniejszej pracy: w analizie wspomnianych powyżej strategii queer” oraz w poprzedzającym ją glosariuszu, składającym się z pojęć kluczowych i ich opisów.
