dc.abstract.enOur comprehension of time never exhausts the complexity of the phenomena in need of understanding. This complexity stimulated the Greeks to differentiate between χρόνος and καιρός: mechanical time, which can be easily measured, is distinguished from the fitting or opportune moment, when the time is right.
