Frankfurcki Judensau – geneza, ikonografia i oddziaływanie tematu w I połowie XVII wieku

dc.abstract.enThis paper discusses the origins of the Judensau motif as well as iconography and influence of the subject of Frankfurt’s Judensau, which links the motif to the image of Simon of Trent. The following paper outlines the origins of the Judensau motif and the contexts of European anti-Semitic discourse that are significant for understanding the subject. Recognizing Frankfurt's version as an iconographic subject, this paper organizes examples of its implementation and examines its iconography, taking into account changes that occurred until the last quarter of the 17th century, when the depiction scheme was finally formulated. Based on archival sources, this study presents the potential influence of the subject in Frankfurt am Main, focusing on the period from 1609 to the end of the 1630s. A crucial context for considering the meanings of the subject, is set by anti-Semitic events and sentiments associated with the Vincenz Fettmilch uprising.
dc.abstract.plPraca omawia genezę motywu Judensau oraz ikonografię i oddziaływanie, łączącego motyw z wizerunkiem Szymona z Trydentu, tematu frankfurckiego Judensau. W tekście zarysowano genezę motywu Judensau i istotne dla znaczeń tematu, konteksty europejskiego dyskursu antysemickiego. Autor uznając redakcję frankfurcką za temat ikonograficzny, systematyzuje przykłady jego realizacji i przygląda się jego ikonografii, uwzględniając zachodzące w niej zmiany do ostatniej ćwierci XVII wieku, kiedy to ostatecznie formułuje się schemat przedstawienia. Opierając się na źródłach archiwalnych, autor prezentuje możliwość oddziaływania tematu we Frankfurcie nad Menem, skupiając się na okresie od roku 1609 do końca lat 30 XVII wieku. Ważnym kontekstem, w jakim rozpatrywane są znaczenia tematu, są wydarzenia i antysemickie nastroje związane z Powstaniem Vincenzo Fettmilcha.
