Opinie społeczne na temat dziewictwa

dc.abstract.enThe master's thesis focuses on the evolution of the perception of virginity and people who have not yet started sexual activity in the context of changing social norms, universal access to sexual content, and the influence of culture. At work, I analyzed the opinions of virginity and sexual initiation. I examined 354 respondents in the range of 18 to 52 years of age. Among the respondents were both people who already had sexual experience and those who had their first time in front of them. The tests were conducted within 22 days with the help of a survey, which consisted of both closed and open questions and was aimed at obtaining a large cross-section of answers. The diagnostic survey was sent using the snowball technique through e-mails and social networks. The questions contained in the survey were also designed to assign respondents to one of four groups (women and men before and after initiation), which helped to understand the differences in the perceptions of virginity and sexual experiences of these groups. At work, I study various opinions on virginity, discovering the different views and beliefs of individuals. I analyze the impact of the media, culture, and social influence on shaping respondents' opinions. I put a lot of emphasis on the narrative of virginity, in the media, literature, or the Internet, indicating the contrast between the romanticization of virginity and the ridicule of people who have not yet had sex. Furthermore, I also examined how the impact of a lack of sex education changes the reception of the first sexual experience. The work is divided into the following parts: two chapters focus on terminology about virginity and its representation in popular culture. The second part includes a methodological analysis, describes selected research methods and a group of respondents, and presents the results obtained and conclusions drawn from the study.
dc.abstract.plPraca magisterska skupia się na ewolucji postrzegania dziewictwa oraz osób, które jeszcze nie rozpoczęły aktywności seksualnej w kontekście: zmieniających się norm społecznych oraz powszechnego dostępu do treści seksualnych i wpływów kultury. W pracy analizuję opinię dotyczące dziewictwa i inicjacji seksualnej, zbadałam 354 respondentów w przedziale od 18 do 52 roku życia. Wśród ankietowanych były zarówno osoby, które posiadały już doświadczenie seksualne i te, które mają swój „pierwszy raz” przed sobą. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w ciągu 22 dni przy pomocy ankiety, która składała się zarówno z pytań zamkniętych jak i otwartych, które miały na celu uzyskanie dużego przekroju odpowiedzi. Zastosowany sondaż diagnostyczny, został rozesłany za pomocą techniki „śnieżnej kuli”, za pośrednictwem e-maili i portali społecznościowych. Pytania zawarte w ankiecie miały, również za zadanie przydzielić respondentów do jednej z czterech grup (kobiety oraz mężczyźni przed i po inicjacji), co pozwoliło pomóc lepiej zrozumieć różnice w postrzeganiu dziewictwa i doświadczeń seksualnych tych grup. W pracy badam różne opinie na temat dziewictwa, odkrywając zróżnicowane poglądy i przekonania jednostek. Analizuję wpływ mediów, kultury i wpływów społecznych na kształtowanie opinii ankietowanych. Duży nacisk położyłam na narrację dziewictwa w mediach, literaturze czy Internecie, wskazując kontrast między romantyzowaniem dziewictwa, a wyśmiewaniem osób, które jeszcze nie współżyły. Zbadałam, także jak wpływ braku edukacji seksualnej zmienia odbiór pierwszych doświadczeń seksualnych. Praca podzielona jest na następujące części: dwa rozdziały, skupiają się na terminologii dotyczącej dziewictwa oraz jego reprezentacji w kulturze popularnej. Druga część obejmuje analizę metodologiczną, opisuje wybrane metody badawcze, grupę respondentów i prezentuje uzyskane wyniki oraz wyciągnięte z badań wnioski.
