Co po rodzinie? Przyjaźń w perspektywie abolicji rodziny.

dc.abstract.enThis paper deals with the relationship between the feminist demand for the abolition of the family and the philosophy of friendship. The author proposes to consider friendship as an alternative to interpersonal relationships organised around the family as the primary mode of organising social reproduction. The paper consists of an introduction on the idea of the abolition of the family and three chapters. The first develops the notions organising further arguments: care, care work and reproductive labour. The author also looks at two antinomies related to the notion of caring. Later the author develops her own definition of friendship: as a relationship of care that is not based on property. Chapter two introduces a thematic archive of philosophical conceptions of friendship by reading texts by Michel Foucault, Friedrich Nietzsche, Todd May, Luce Irigaray and Jacques Derrida. In chapter three, the author traces alternative economies of friendship and care in theoretical texts by trans studies scholars Hil Malatino, Jane Ward and Jules Gill-Peterson and explores the relationship between friendship and state prescriptions for the organisation of caring labour by looking at the reproductive labour crisis associated with the AIDS epidemic. In the conclusion, the author returns to the notion of friendship to point out the utopian surplus contained within it.
dc.abstract.plNiniejsza praca dotyczy relacji pomiędzy feministycznym postulatem abolicji rodziny a filozofią przyjaźni. Autorka proponuje rozważenie przyjaźni jako alternatywy dla relacji międzyludzkich, które organizowane są wokół rodziny jako podstawowego sposobu organizacji reprodukcji społecznej. Praca składa się ze wstępu dotyczącego idei abolicji rodziny oraz trzech rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozwijane są pojęcia organizujące dalszą argumentację: troski, pracy troski i pracy reprodukcyjnej. Autorka przygląda się także dwóm antynomiom związanym z pojęciem troski. Wypracowuje także własną definicję przyjaźni: jako relację troski, która nie jest oparta na własności. W rozdziale drugim stworzone zostaje problemowe archiwum filozoficznych koncepcji przyjaźni przez zestawienie tekstów Michela Foucault, Fryderyka Nietzschego, Todda Maya, Luce Irigaray i Jacquesa Derridy. W rozdziale trzecim autorka śledzi alternatywne ekonomie przyjaźni i troski – w tekstach teoretycznych badaczek związanych z trans studies – Hila Malatino, Jane Ward i Jules Gill-Peterson, a także bada związki między przyjaźnią a państwowymi receptami na organizację pracy troski, przyglądając się kryzysowi pracy reprodukcyjnej związanemu z epidemią AIDS. W zakończeniu autorka wraca do pojęcia przyjaźni, żeby wskazać na zawarty w nim utopijny naddatek.
