Elementy tradycji klasycznej w filozofii Henryka Elzenberga

dc.abstract.enThe article poses that Elzenberg’s philosophy is rooted in classical tradition and faithful to Hellenistic and Roman ideals. The thesis on the continuation of classical tradition is supported by a reconstruction of the elements of idealism, heroism and romanticism in the philosopher’s work. Though those elements find their place in Henryk Elzenberg’s philosophy, they fully reveal their significance in the context of his life and decisions. The reconstruction is done from the perspective of political philosophy, or a normative reflection on political reality. This perspective shows an unexpected political impact of Elzenberg’s thought on politically involved intellectuals in 1980s Poland.
dc.abstract.plTezą artykułu jest twierdzenie, że filozofia Elzenberga jest zakorzeniona w tradycji klasycznej i wierna ideałom grecko-rzymskim. Tezę o kontynuacji tradycji klasycznej uzasadnia rekonstrukcja elementów idealizmu, heroizmu i romantyzmu. Elementy te mieszczą się w filozofii Henryka Elzenberga, ale w pełni ujawniają swoje znaczenie w kontekście biografii filozofa i podjętych przez niego decyzji. Rekonstrukcji dokonano z perspektywy filozofii polityki, czyli normatywnej refleksji nad rzeczywistością polityczną. Ta perspektywa ukazuje nieoczekiwany polityczny wpływ myśli Elzenberga na politycznie zaangażowanych intelektualistów w Polsce lat osiemdziesiątych.
