dc.abstract.enThe thesis focuses on travel photography, the genesis of its creation, and leading photographers who have utilized this media form, describing the projects they have undertaken and the impact they have had on society at the time. Emphasizing the current and historical significance of these endeavors on how people perceive the world, the work considers political, social, and environmental transformations. In the subsequent sections, it describes the inspirations behind a series of photographs depicting the relationship of the Chinese people with the sea. Describes personal experiences, reflections, and the creative process accompanying their creation. It addresses the issue of the role of travel photography on the world, its audience, and the photographer himself.
dc.abstract.plPraca skupia się na fotografii podróżniczej, genezie jej powstania oraz czołowych fotografach posługujących się tą formą medialną, opisując realizowane przez nich projekty oraz wpływ, jakie wywarły one na ówczesne społeczeństwo. Podkreślając obecne oraz historyczne znaczenie tych przedsięwzięć na sposób postrzegania świata przez człowieka, praca bierze pod uwagę przemiany polityczne, społeczne oraz środowiskowe. W dalszej części opisuje inspiracje realizowanego cyklu fotografii przedstawiającego relację Chińczyków z morzem oraz przedstawia osobiste doświadczenia, refleksje oraz proces twórczy towarzyszący ich powstawaniu. Porusza problematykę roli fotografii podróżniczej na świat, jej odbiorców oraz samego fotografa.
