Polski ruch demokratyczny na rewolucyjnej Ukrainie (marzec 1917 r. – kwiecień 1918 r.)

Praca magisterska jest poświęcona historii polskiego ruchu demokratycznego na rewolucyjnej Ukrainie (marzec 1917 r. – kwiecień 1918 r.). Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów poświęconych odpowiednio: podstawom metodologicznym, ukraińskim Polakom w okresie Ukraińskiej Centralnej Rady oraz zjawisku polskiej autonomii narodowo-personalnej. Pierwsza część przedstawia analizę koncepcji Ukraińskiej Rewolucji lat 1917-1921, główne pojęcia oraz stan badań w polskiej, ukraińskiej i zachodniej historiografii. Druga część opisuje kształtowanie się Ukraińskiej Centralnej Rady i powstanie polskiego ruchu demokratycznego, jego relacje z innymi polskimi ugrupowaniami politycznymi oraz ich stosunek do idei ukraińskiej państwowości. W trzeciej części przedstawiono historię polskiej autonomii narodowo-personalnej jako kulminację polskich demokratów, przy czym przeanalizowano również działalność i strukturę Sekretariatu Generalnego (od stycznia 1918 r. – Ministerstwa) Spraw Polskich Ukraińskiej Republiki Ludowej.

The present thesis describes the history of the Polish democratic movement in revolutionary Ukraine (March 1917 - April 1918), which is a poorly researched subject. The thesis is divided into three chapters presenting the theoretical and methodological approaches, the socio-political situation of Ukrainian Poles at the time of the Ukrainian Central Rada, and the phenomenon of the creation of Polish national-personal autonomy at that time. The first chapter presents a brief analysis of the concept of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921, the main insights and concepts, and the state of research in Polish, Ukrainian, and Western historiography in the broad sense. The second chapter analyzes the formation of the Ukrainian Central Rada and the emergence of the Polish democratic movement, its relations with other Polish political parties and groups, and its attitude to the idea of Ukrainian nationhood and statehood. The third chapter presents the history of Polish national-personal autonomy as the culmination and work of the Polish democratic movement, while also analyzing the activities and structure of the General Secretariat (from January 1918 - the Ministry) of Polish Affairs of the Ukrainian People's Republic.
