W swojej pracy analizuję zjawisko powstałe w fandomie programu telewizyjnego RuPaul’s Drag Race nazwane robbed queen. Wyznaczam kluczowe czynniki, jakimi można determinować fenomen pokrzywdzonej, w opinii fanów_ek, uczestniczki oraz analizuję trzy przykłady tak określonych drag queens. Badam, jak fenomen robbed queens w Drag Race pokazuje skłonności fandomu do kwestionowania znaczeń projektowanych przez produkcję programu oraz do tworzenia alternatywnych narracji jako formy buntu przeciwko autorytetowi.

In my thesis, I analyse a phenomenon created in the TV show RuPaul's Drag Race fandom called the robbed queen. I delineate the key factors by which the phenomenon of the disadvantaged, in the opinion of fans, participant can be determined, and analyse three examples of drag queens so defined. I explore how the phenomenon of the robbed queens in Drag Race demonstrates fandom's propensity to question the meanings projected by the show's production and to create alternative narratives as a form of rebellion against authority.
