Ewolucja kina giallo w twórczości Daria Argento

W swojej pracy zajmuję się tematem gatunku filmowego jakim jest giallo. Na początku określam i typuję najważniejsze cechy i motywy ważne dla włoskiego nurtu. Następnie analizuję go na podstawie trzech filmów w reżyserii Daria Argento, mianowicie: Głębokiej czerwieni, Fenomenów, Czarnych okularów. Na ich podstawie po kolei badam, czym było klasyczne giallo, jak w latach osiemdziesiątych zaczęło łączyć się z amerykańskim slasherem i na koniec, jak i czy w ogóle można mówić o istnieniu tego gatunku we współczesnym kinie.

In my work, I deal with the subject of the giallo film genre. At the beginning, I define and type the most important features and motifs important for the Italian trend. Then I analyze it on the basis of three films directed by Dario Argento, namely: Deep Red, Phenomena, Black Glasses. Based on them, I examine in turn what the classic giallo was, how it began to connect with the American slasher in the 1980s, and finally, how and whether this genre can be said to exist in contemporary cinema at all.
