MAXXI w Rzymie projektu Zahy Hadid jako przykład dekonstruktywizmu w architekturze muzealnej

dc.abstract.enThe thesis is an attempt to analyze the architecture of the 21st Century Art Museum MAXXI project by Zaha Hadid in the context of the deconstructivism movement and contemporary museum architecture. The first chapter is dedicated to the analysis of three architectural movements; modernism, postmodernism and deconstructivism. Special attention is paid to the specifics of deconstructivism and the differences in museum design. The second chapter presents the history of the first exhibition dedicated to deconstructivist architecture, “Deconstructivist Architecture,” held at MoMA in New York in 1988. The choice of this exhibition as a reference point is due to its groundbreaking importance in defining and popularizing deconstructivism as an architectural trend. This is followed by a profile of the British-Iraqi architect and the only female participant in the exhibition - Zaha Hadid. The third chapter is entirely related to the MAXXI museum in Rome. The genesis of the project and the history of the building's creation are touched upon. The chapter ends with a comparison of the concept and architecture of MAXXI with other contemporary museums in Europe. The conclusion is an attempt to summarize the project of the Museum of 21st Century Art in Rome in the context of deconstructivism as an architectural trend and the concept of museum architecture.
dc.abstract.plPraca jest próbą przeanalizowania architektury Muzeum Sztuki XXI Wieku MAXXI projektu Zahy Hadid w kontekście nurtu dekonstruktywizmu i współczesnej architektury muzealnej. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest na analizę trzech nurtów architektonicznych; modernizmu, postmodernizmu i dekonstruktywizmu. Szczególna uwaga zwrócona została na specyfikę dekonstruktywizmu i różnice w projektowaniu muzeów. W drugim rozdziale przedstawiona została historia pierwszej wystawy poświęconej architekturze dekonstruktywizmu – „Deconstructivist Architecture”, która odbyła się w MoMA w Nowy Jorku w 1988 roku. Wybór tej wystawy jako punktu odniesienia wynika z jej przełomowego znaczenia w definiowaniu i upowszechnianiu dekonstruktywizmu jako nurtu architektonicznego. Następnie przedstawiona została sylwetka brytyjsko-irackiej architektki i jedynej uczestniczki wystawy – Zahy Hadid. Trzeci rozdział w całości związany jest z muzeum MAXXI w Rzymie. Poruszony jest temat genezy projektu i historii powstania obiektu. Rozdział kończy porównanie koncepcji i architektury MAXXI z innymi współczesnymi muzeami w Europie. Zakończenie jest próbą podsumowania projektu Muzeum Sztuki XXI Wieku w Rzymie w kontekście dekonstruktywizmu jako nurtu architektonicznego i koncepcji architektury muzealnej.
