Przeciążenie informacyjne - wprowadzenie do tematu

dc.abstract.enThis article presents a short introduction to the problems of information overload. The term is understood here as a state arising from receiving too much information by the human body in the form of sensory impressions, verbal and nonverbal messages in relation to the possibility of their processing by cognitive aparatus at a given time. Information overload has conditional and relative charakter and is the result of an individual assessment of the situation. The paper presents some of the ways of reducing information overload discussed in the scientific literature placing emphasis on solutions developed by librarianship and information science.
dc.abstract.plArtykuł jest krótkim wprowadzeniem w problematykę przeciążenia informacyjnego. Przeciążenie informacyjne rozumie się tu jako stan powstający w rezultacie odbierania przez organizm ludzki zbyt dużej liczby informacji w postaci wrażeń zmysłowych, komunikatów werbalnych i pozawerbalnych w stosunku do możliwości ich przetworzenia w danym czasie przez aparat poznawczy. Ma ono charakter warunkowy, względny i jest rezultatem osobniczej oceny sytuacji. Wskazano niektóre omawiane w literaturze naukowej sposoby redukowania przeciążenia informacyjnego ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rozwiązań wypracowanych przez bibliotekoznawstwo i naukę o informacji.
