Mishima in Polonia

Uproszczony widok
The article talks about the reception of Mishima Yukio's prose and dramatic works in Poland. His works were translated into Polish from 1957, and he has still many admirers and ambassadors in Poland. They are artists - writers, poets, actors, directors; journalists and literary critics show much interest in his work, not to mention men of science - above all they are japanologists, but also theatrologists, art historians, culture experts, historians and political scientists. The following works by Mishima have been translated into Polish: Modern noh plays, Rokumeikan, The Temple of the Golden Pavillion, Confessions of the Mask and many of his short stories.
