Poznanie jako praktyka, czyli krytyka intelektualizmu i rozumu scholastycznego w myśli Maurice’a Merleau-Ponty’ego i Pierre’a Bourdieu

dc.abstract.enThe aim of this work is to reconstruct selected concepts introduced into philosophical conceptuality by Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Pierre Bourdieu and to analyse their critique of scholastic reason and intellectualism. The thesis posited in this work is that the reconstructed concepts substantiate the thought expressed by Marek Siemek on the need to conceive a philosophical epistemology. The concept of the phenomenal field (Merleau-Ponty) and the field (Bourdieu) reminds us of the inherent limitations of thought due to its anchoring in physical and social space. The concepts of the body proper and habitus have a dialectical nature — they both avoid binary oppositions and contain them within themselves. As such, these concepts enable thinking of thought as a practice, that is, as an activity that always has its source in the world.
dc.abstract.plCelem niniejszej pracy jest zrekonstruowanie wybranych pojęć wprowadzonych do pojęciowości filozoficznej przez Maurice’a Merleau-Ponty’ego i Pierre’a Bourdieu oraz analiza ich krytyki rozumu scholastycznego oraz intelektualizmu. W pracy zostaje postawiona teza, iż zrekonstruowane pojęcia wypełniają treścią myśl wyrażoną przez Marka Siemka o potrzebie pomyślenia filozoficznej epistemologii. Pojęcie pola fenomenalnego (Merleau-Ponty) i pola (Bourdieu) przypomina myśleniu o jego własnej ograniczoności wynikającej z zakotwiczenia w przestrzeni (fizykalnej i społecznej). Pojęcia ciała własnego i habitusu mają charakter dialektyczny – zarazem stronią od binarnych opozycji, jak i zawierają je w sobie. Jako takie, pojęcia te umożliwiają myślenie myślenia jako praktyki, czyli jako aktywności, która zawsze ma swoje źródło w świecie.
