Wykorzystanie serwisu Facebook przez polskie biblioteki uniwersyteckie w czasie ich zamknięcia spowodowanego pandemią Covid-19. Analiza porównawcza udostępnianych postów

dc.abstract.enObjective – This article is to present the results of the content analysis of posts shared by 18 Polish public university libraries on their Facebook fanpages. Research methods – In order to categorize post topics (collected with Fanpage Karma tool) the author assigned them 10 different codes. The analysis covered posts published during spring and fall lockdown caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Fanpage Karma tool was also used to indicate which content was of the largest interest to the users and provide respective indicators of this interest. Results and conclusions – The following conclusion was reached – Facebook was used in the afore-mentioned periods by all analyzed university libraries. All libraries drew attention and received reactions from their users to the posts published on their Facebook fanpages, although those reactions differed in their intensity. In the analyzed periods most posts covered library collections and services, presentation of resources and services delivered by other institutions and information on library activities during the lockdown.
