Скарб римських денаріїв з с. Хідновичі Львівської області: перші результати досліджень

dc.abstract.enThe hoard was accidentally discovered in August 2017 and contained 559 coins – denarii, minted behalf of the fourteen issuers (Nero, Galba, Oton, Vitellius, Vespasian, Titus, Domitian, Nerva, Trajan, Adrian, Antoninus Pius, Marcus Aurelius, Commodus, Septimius Severus). The early coins in hoard is the three denarii of Nero, 64-65 AD (RIC I 47, 49, 53), the most latest coin is the fragment of the denarius of Septimius Severus, 202-210 AD (RIC IV.1 288). The total weight of the hoard is 1607,31 gr. (530 coins, the weight of 29 coins is unknown). In general, coins preservation can be estimated as good, the most worn out is the coins of the Flavian dynasty. According to its chronological structure, the hoard belongs to the type of BC according to A. Dymovsky and K. Myzgin, which is typical enough for hoards from Central Europe. Most probably the hoard included a golden rectangular suspension; a similar one was found in the hoard from Brangstrup in Denmark. The hoarding process could be hypothetically associated with ethno-cultural transformations in the Upper reaches of the Western Bug and the Dniester in the III century AD.
