Motyw żartu w powieści Milana Kundery Žert

dc.abstract.enThis thesis is devoted to the analysis of the use of the joke motif in Milan Kundera's novel entitled The Joke. Milan Kundera, as an artist who in his works deals with the subject of interpersonal relationships and the functioning of man in the world, often uses absurdity, paradox, and grotesque comedy in order to discover the complexity of human communication, misunderstandings, and the randomness of fate. The first chapter of the work presents selected biographical threads in the context of Milan Kundera's work and their influence on the shaping of his creative personality, as well as on the construction of the worlds presented in his novels. The second chapter discusses the issue of using the literary concept of the joke motif in the analyzed novel, taking into account its impact on the fate of the characters. The last chapter is devoted to the analysis of the nature of Milan Kundera's novel, indicating the universal nature of his message. Despite setting the novel's plot in specific historical realities, Milan Kundera's works discover the universal truth about human nature, the paradoxes of human behavior and the vagaries of fate. What concerns history and politics is only an excuse to show deeper and more general mechanisms of existence.
dc.abstract.plNiniejsza praca została poświęcona analizie wykorzystania motywu żartu w powieści Milana Kundery pt. Żart. Milan Kundera, jako twórca podejmujący w swoich dziełach tematykę relacji międzyludzkich, funkcjonowania człowieka w świecie, posługuje się często absurdem, paradoksem, groteskowym komizmem w celu odkrycia złożoności ludzkiej komunikacji, nieporozumień, przypadkowości losu. Pierwszy rozdział pracy przedstawia wybrane wątki biograficzne w kontekście twórczości Milana Kundery i ich wpływ na kształtowanie jego osobowości twórczej, a także na konstruowanie światów przedstawionych w jego powieściach. W rozdziale drugim poruszona została kwestia wykorzystania literackiego pojęcia motywu żartu w analizowanej powieści z uwzględnieniem jego wpływu na losy bohaterów. Ostatni rozdział poświęcono analizie charakteru powieści Milana Kundery ze wskazaniem uniwersalistycznego charakteru jego przekazu. Mimo osadzenia fabuły powieści w konkretnych realiach historycznych, utwory Milana Kundery odkrywają uniwersalną prawdę o naturze ludzkiej, paradoksach ludzkich zachowań i kaprysach losu. To, co dotyczy historii i polityki to tylko pretekst, by pokazać głębsze i bardziej ogólne mechanizmy egzystencji.
