Fleksografia w okresie pandemii

An examination of the condition of the printing sector was undertaken in May 2020, in the second month of the economy's „standstill”. 191 entities took part in it, among them 40 companies in which flexography was the dominant technology. Among the printing companies surveyed, entities employing less than 10 people predominated. Research shows that the printing industry has found itself in a difficult situation. The sudden stop of the economy not only reduced the number of orders, but also accelerated the change in the structure of demand. Restart does not mean a return to the profitability path, which has previously shown a downward trend. Starting the economy after a pandemic means profound technological changes for the sector. Those who have made the right choices preparing technologies for the identified needs are in a good situation. The industry is facing a wave of sales of unnecessary means of production, possibly bankruptcies, with the prospect of new investments and organizational hanges. The success of the actions taken will be determined by the speed of making decisions that will allow you to gain a competitive advantage and consume the pension due to the innovator.
