Stamped Military Building Materials from the Funerary Context. The Case of the Eastern Necropolis of Novae (Moesia inferior)

Uproszczony widok
The excavations in the eastern extension (annex) of Novae revealed the remains of the necropolis, including three graves covered with the stamped military building materials. The inventory of the graves compared with the imprints allows to date the latter to the period between the early 2nd and the late 2nd century AD. Apart from the finds from the graves, four stamps were found in the layers superposing the cemetery, including a very unique consular stamp of L. Cossonius Eggius Marullus.
