Przemiany bohaterów klasycznych baśni na podstawie adaptacji filmowych Walta Disneya

dc.abstract.enThe aim of the work is to present contemporary changes in the archetypes of fairy tale characters, with particular emphasis on film adaptations by The Walt Disney Company. The first chapter was devoted to general thoughts on fairy tales, their origins and typical plots, as well as a short history of the studio in question. The second one focuses on the archetype of a beautiful girl/princess in selected Disney productions, the third one shows the transformation of the male hero, and the fourth one – the negative female character. The author tries to use films with significantly different years of production in each chapter to emphasize the essence of the historical and social context. The fifth chapter is a reflection on the place of fairy tales in the current world and an attempt to polemicize with the criticism of Disney by Jack Zipes. In the conclusion, the author explains some of her research choices and expresses a general opinion on the current changes, both in fairy tales and in the productions of the famous studio.
dc.abstract.plPraca ma na celu prezentację dokonanych współcześnie przemian w archetypach baśniowych postaci, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem adaptacji filmowych wytwórni The Walt Disney Company. Pierwszy rozdział został poświęcony ogólnym przemyśleniom na temat baśni, ich początków oraz typowych wątków, a także krótkiej historii omawianego studia. Drugi skupia się na archetypie pięknej dziewczyny/księżniczki w wybranych produkcjach Disneya, trzeci pokazuje przemiany postaci męskiego bohatera, zaś czwarty – negatywnej postaci kobiecej. Autorka stara się wykorzystywać w każdym rozdziale filmy znacząco różniące się latami produkcji, by podkreślić istotę kontekstu historyczno-społecznego. Piąty rozdział stanowi refleksję na temat miejsca baśni w obecnym świecie oraz próbę polemiki z krytyką Disneya autorstwa Jacka Zipesa. W zakończeniu autorka tłumaczy niektóre ze swych wyborów badawczych oraz wyraża ogólną opinię na temat obecnych zmian zarówno w baśniach, jak i produkcjach słynnej wytwórni.
