Well-Defined Chiral Copper NHC Complex in Asymmetric Conjugated β-Borylation and One-Pot Metathesis-Asymmetric β- Borylation

dc.abstract.enHighly stereoselective conjugate-borylation,usinganew chiralNHC-based coppercatalyst,has beenachieved. The chiralNHC coppercomplexwaspreparedingramscaleand showed highenantioselectivity and activity(up to 10000 turnoversat100 ppmof catalystloading).Thismethod was employed in the synthesis of achiralb-borylat-ed esterfromsimpleunconjugated alkenesthoughanun-precedented one-potcrossmetathesis-asymmetricboryla-tion sequence.
