Developing literary awareness in the EFL classroom through the educative role of Winnie the Pooh by Alan Alexander Milne

dc.abstract.enThe Diploma Project consists of two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The first part is analytical and is devoted to defining terms like culture, literary and literary awareness. It also consists of an analysis of Winnie the Pooh and its influence on children’s education. The second part is practical and it contains three lesson plans with learning resources. General and particular aims with a description of solutions for didactic assignments are elaborated at the beginning of the Diploma Project. In the first part, I concentrate on the meaning of readership and developing literary awareness in the EFL classroom. The practical part focuses particularly on the didactic usage of Winnie the Pooh. It also consists of a didactic situation, concepts and a class profile which are described. The Diploma Project ends with the Final Conclusion. Every didactic aid and material needed in my classes is at the end of the thesis, in the Appendix.
dc.abstract.plProjekt dyplomowy składa się z dwóch części - z teoretycznej i praktycznej. Pierwsza część jest analityczna i polega na wyjaśnieniu takich pojęć jak kultura, literatura, świadomość literacka. Ta część zawiera także analizę “Kubusia Puchatka” i jego wpływ na edukację dzieci. Druga część jest praktyczna i zawiera trzy plany lekcji wraz z materiałami dydaktycznymi. Cele ogólne i szczegółowe wraz z opisem rozwiązań zadań dydaktycznych ustalane są na początku projektu dyplomowego. W pierwszej części skupiona uwaga została również na znaczeniu czytelnictwa i rozwijaniu świadomości literackiej w klasie EFL. Część praktyczna skupia się szczególnie na dydaktycznym wykorzystaniu Kubusia Puchatka. Zawiera także opisaną sytuację dydaktyczną, koncepcje i profil zajęć. Projekt Dyplomowy kończy się podsumowaniem obu części. Wszelkie pomoce dydaktyczne i materiały potrzebne do przeprowadzenia zajęć znajdują się na końcu pracy, w załączniku.
