Kobiety w architekturze. Analiza i diagnoza patriarchalnej struktury branży architektonicznej z perspektywy teorii feministycznej na przykładzie Polski, Stanów Zjednoczonych i Europy Zachodniej

dc.abstract.enThis work aims to discuss both the current situation of women in the field and industry of architecture, as well as its genesis from a feminist perspective. It presents topics related to discrimination against women in the world of architecture in many fields. The work touches on aspects such as the glass ceiling, failure to take up higher positions after completing studies, sexism in architectural studios and universities, paternalism, failure to take women into account in design processes, cultural gender stereotypes, and inequalities in opportunities, earnings and distinctions. In the theoretical part, the history of women's emancipation in architecture in the United States, Europe and Poland, the profiles of 20th century architects, the stories of women in architectural marriages, examples of the contemporary fight against patriarchy and the model of feminist design were analyzed. The next part is a research project consisting of a qualitative study in which the method of deepened interviews was used. It includes a list of issues and problems related to the current situation of women in the profession of architecture and as users of cities, as well as the aspects emphasized by the respondents in the context of the changes that must take place in order for the current state of reality to change. It was highlighted based on the respondents' experiences and opinions shared during interviews.
dc.abstract.plNiniejsza praca ma na celu omówienie zarówno obecnej sytuacji kobiet w dziedzinie oraz branży jaką stanowi architektura, jak i jej genezy w ujęciu feministycznym. Zostały w niej przedłożone tematy związane z dyskryminacją kobiet w świecie architektury na wielu polach. Praca porusza takie aspekty jak szklany sufit, nieobejmowanie wyższych stanowisk po skończonych studiach, seksizm w pracowniach architektonicznych i na uczelniach, paternalizm, nieuwzględnianie kobiet w procesach projektowych, kulturowe stereotypy płciowe, nierówności w szansach, zarobkach oraz wyróżnieniach. W części teoretycznej analizie poddane zostały historia emancypacji kobiet w architekturze w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Europie i Polsce, sylwetki architektek XX wieku, historie kobiet w małżeństwach architektonicznych, przykłady współczesnej walki z patriarchatem oraz model projektowania feministycznego. Dalszą część stanowi projekt badawczy składający się z badania jakościowego, w którym zastosowana została metoda wywiadów pogłębionych. Obejmuje spis zagadnień i problemów związanych z obecną sytuacją kobiet w zawodzie architektki oraz jako użytkowniczek miast, a także aspektów na jakie kładły nacisk badane w kontekście zmian, które muszą zajść, aby zmienił się obecny stan rzeczywistości. Wyróżniony został na podstawie doświadczeń i opinii respondentek, którymi dzieliły się podczas wywiadów.
