Trudności wychowawcze jako doświadczenia biograficzne matek nastolatków

dc.abstract.enThe subject of the present thesis is the experience of mothers of adolescents and their perception of behavioural issues in children they have encountered in the process of upbringing. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the transformation of motherhood in the context of social changes, including modern concepts and approaches to motherhood and the role of the father in the family. The experience of parenthood and ideas related to reflective and responsible parenting were presented. The final section outlines the transformations in the family system which may occur in response to changing children’s needs. This is followed by the characteristics of behavioural difficulties which could arise in the process of upbringing. Most significant theories related to attitudes to parenting, parenting methods and styles have been presented. The importance of family ties in the context of emerging problems has also been discussed. The last subsection introduces the role of attachment as a life experience. The present thesis is empirical in nature. A qualitative research approach has been employed. The aim of the present study was to identify the difficulties faced by mothers. Thus, the research was conducted with the use of a biographical method. Four biographical interviews were conducted with mothers of adolescents. They provided their perspective and interpretation of the behavioural issues in children which they have encountered. The research material collected in the course of interviews was analysed and led to conclusions reflecting on the upbringing in the family context. A preliminary theory of emotional dependencies and interpersonal relationships in the families of the women interviewed was outlined.
dc.abstract.plPrzedmiotem niniejszej pracy są doświadczenia matek nastolatków oraz postrzeganie trudności wychowawczych, które napotkały w procesie wychowania. W części teoretycznej zostały przedstawione przemiany macierzyństwa w kontekście zmiany społecznej, z uwzględnieniem współczesnych rodzajów macierzyństwa i roli ojca w rodzinie. Opisano czym jest doświadczanie rodzicielstwa, a także na czym polega rodzicielstwo refleksyjne i odpowiedzialne. W ostatnim punkcie omówiono przemiany życia rodzinnego, wyróżnione ze względu na charakter potrzeb rozwojowych dzieci. Następnie dokonano charakterystyki trudności wychowawczych. Zaprezentowano podstawowe teorie związane z postawami rodzicielskimi oraz metodami i stylami wychowawczymi. Została także omówiona istota więzi w rodzinie w kontekście powstawania problemów wychowawczych. W ostatnim podrozdziale przybliżono rolę przywiązania jako doświadczenie życiowe. Praca ma charakter empiryczny, w której wykorzystano podejście jakościowe. Celem badania było wstępne rozpoznanie trudności jakie stoją przed matkami, dlatego podjęto prace badawcze z wykorzystaniem metody biograficznej. Zostały przeprowadzone cztery wywiady biograficzne z matkami nastolatków, które przedstawiły swoją perspektywę i interpretację doświadczanych problemów wychowawczych. Na podstawie rozmów dokonano analizy zebranego materiału badawczego, a następnie podjęto refleksję nad wychowaniem w rodzinie. Zarysowano wstępną teorię zależności emocjonalnych i relacji interpersonalnych w rodzinach badanych kobiet.
