La comparación de los métodos usados para la enseñanza de las personas sordas en España en el siglo XVI y en el siglo XVIII con el enfoque en las figuras de Pedro Ponce de León y Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro.

dc.abstract.enIn this paper, my goal was to describe the methods used to teach deaf people in Spain in the 16th and 18th centuries, focusing on Pedro Ponce de León and Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro. In the introduction, I explained basic terms related to this topic. I also presented the plan of the paper and explained why I chose these two figures and the periods I analyzed. The first chapter is about the situation of deaf people in the 16th century. I described the historical and cultural context that influenced how deaf people were seen and treated, and I explained the teaching methods used by Pedro Ponce de León, who is considered a pioneer in deaf education. In the second chapter, I focused on the 18th century and the changes in the education of deaf people. I described the teaching system developed by Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro, who continued and improved the earlier methods. In the third chapter, I compared the methods used by both educators, pointing out the similarities and differences in their approaches. This analysis showed how the perception of deaf people changed between the 16th and 18th centuries.

dc.abstract.otherEn este trabajo, mi objetivo fue describir los métodos usados para enseñar a personas sordas en España en los siglos XVI y XVIII, enfocándome en Pedro Ponce de León y Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro. En la introducción, expliqué términos básicos relacionados con el tema. También presenté el plan del trabajo y expliqué por qué elegí a estos dos personajes y las épocas que analicé. En el primer capítulo, hablé sobre la situación de las personas sordas en el siglo XVI. Describí el contexto histórico y cultural que afectaba cómo se veían y trataban a las personas sordas. Además, expliqué los métodos de enseñanza de Pedro Ponce de León, quien es considerado un pionero en la educación de los sordos. En el segundo capítulo, me centré en el siglo XVIII y en los cambios en la educación de las personas sordas. Describí el sistema de enseñanza de Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro, quien continuó y mejoró los métodos anteriores. En el tercer capítulo, comparé los métodos de ambos maestros, señalando las similitudes y diferencias en sus enfoques. Este análisis mostró cómo cambió la percepción de las personas sordas entre los siglos XVI y XVIII.
dc.abstract.plW niniejszej pracy moim celem było szczegółowe przedstawienie oraz opisanie metod stosowanych do nauczania osób głuchych w Hiszpanii w XVI i XVIII wieku, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem postaci Pedro Ponce de Leóna oraz Lorenzo Hervása y Panduro. We wstępie wyjaśniłam podstawową terminologię związaną z tym tematem, co pozwala na lepsze zrozumienie dalszych rozważań. Ponadto, przedstawiłam plan całej pracy, argumentując wybór zarówno omawianych postaci, jak i analizowanych epok. Pierwszy rozdział pracy poświęciłam analizie sytuacji osób głuchych w XVI wieku. Przedstawiłam kontekst historyczny i kulturowy, który wpływał na postrzeganie i traktowanie osób głuchych oraz omówiłam metody nauczania stosowane przez Pedro Ponce de Leóna, który jest uważany za pioniera w dziedzinie edukacji niesłyszących. W drugim rozdziale skoncentrowałam się na XVIII wieku, analizując zmiany, które zaszły w edukacji osób głuchych. Tym samym opisałam system nauczania opracowany przez Lorenzo Hervása y Panduro, który kontynuował i rozwijał wcześniejsze metody. Natomiast w trzecim rozdziale porównałam metody stosowane przez obu pedagogów, wskazując na podobieństwa i różnice w ich podejściu. Analiza ta pozwoliła na uwzględnienie zmian w percepcji osób głuchych, które zaszły na przestrzeni tych dwóch wieków.
