Obszary strategicznej interwencji – w kierunku modyfikacji i usprawnienia wymiaru terytorialnego polityki regionalnej

dc.abstract.enAreas of strategic intervention (ASI) are a manifestation of the territorial dimension of development policies at various levels of administration. Their introduction in the development strategies of the voivodeships has encountered methodological and political problems (the regional authorities were forced first to indicate separate approaches to the use of instruments in the various parts of the regions they manage). The article, based on a detailed comparison of ASI in two strategies of less developed voivodeships in Poland, seeks to answer the question of what should be changed in the current approach to strategic intervention areas so that the next generation of strategies has a qualitatively better territorial dimension. The problem analysis of ASI in the two strategies leads to the conclusion that the new approach should be more strongly based on dialogue with local communities and a stronger focus on monitoring and evaluation of development outcomes in specific areas.
