Fake newsy w sieci. Studium przypadku dezinformacji we współczesnych mediach społecznościowych i portalach informacyjnych.

dc.abstract.enThis thesis entitled: ‘ Fake news online. A case study of disinformation in contemporary social media and news portals.’ provides an explanation of the phenomenon of disinformation and the concept of fake news, with a particular focus on their presence in contemporary social media and news portals. The paper was devoted to the issues of disinformation and fake news, the identification of the mechanisms of the spread of these phenomena, the potential sources of origin and the effects and preventive methods. A case study of the occurrence of disinformation in the modern world was conducted in the paper. A survey was also conducted on awareness of the presence of fake news and disinformation in the media, among a diverse group of respondents. The paper defines what disinformation and fake news are. Terms such as deep fake, fact checking, information society and news were introduced. The topic of pandemics in Poland, the misuse of the colloquial term Kampinos and the use of modern disinformation methods were discussed. The impact of disinformation on society was also discussed.
dc.abstract.plNiniejsza praca pt.: “ Fake newsy w sieci. Studium przypadku dezinformacji we współczesnych mediach społecznościowych i portalach informacyjnych.” zawiera wyjaśnienie zjawiska dezinformacji oraz pojęcia fake news, z szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich obecności we współczesnych mediach społecznościowych oraz portalach informacyjnych. Praca została poświęcona zagadnieniom dezinformacji i fake newsów, określeniu mechanizmów rozprzestrzeniania się tych zjawisk, potencjalnych źródeł pochodzenia oraz skutków i metod zapobiegawczych. W pracy zostało przeprowadzone studium przypadku występowania dezinformacji we współczesnym świecie. Przeprowadzono także badanie na temat świadomości o obecności fake newsów i dezinformacji w mediach, wśród różnorodnej grupy badanych. W pracy określono czym jest dezinformacja oraz fake news. Przybliżono terminy, takie jak deep fake, fact checking, społeczeństwo informacyjne i news. Poruszono temat pandemii w Polsce, nadużyć wykorzystania potocznego określenia Kampinos oraz wykorzystania nowoczesnych metod dezinformowania. Omówiono również wpływ dezinformacji na społeczeństwo.
