Renowacja i znaczenie historyczno-kulturowe zespołu architektonicznego Pałac Sapiehów w Różanie (Białoruś)

dc.abstract.enThe work discusses in detail the history of the Sapieha Ruzhany Palace (Belarus): the time of its construction and reconstruction, the time of its flourishing and decline. The work also analyzes the cultural significance of the Różan palace as an architectural object, as well as the Sapieha family collection, which is now scattered around the world. As the southern building (which housed the theater) is currently being renovated, the restoration of the monument is also considered, as well as the important aspect of integrating it into the contemporary cultural life of society and the city. We will analyze the surviving ruins of the palace, comparing them with the original drawings by Jan Samuel Becker, to identify similarities and differences between the restoration project currently underway and the first major reconstruction of the palace in the 18th century. The need for a museum environment at the palace as a cultural monument is obvious, but it also raises the question of its value. This is related to the more general problems of restoring architectural monuments and their role in the cultural, social and economic life of the city and the country. Therefore, let's also look at examples of successful restoration of architectural heritage in Belarus and analyze similar initiatives in Poland.
dc.abstract.plW pracy szczegółowo omówiono historię pałacu w Różanie: czas jego budowy i przebudowy, czas rozkwitu i upadku. Praca analizuje również kulturowe znaczenie pałacu w Różanie jako obiektu architektonicznego, a także zbiorów rodziny Sapiehów, które są obecnie rozproszone po całym świecie. Ponieważ obecnie trwa proces renowacji budynku południowego (w którym mieścił się teatr), rozważany jest również proces renowacji zabytku, a także ważny aspekt włączania go we współczesne życie kulturalne społeczeństwa i miasta. Przeprowadzimy analizę zachowanych ruin pałacu, porównując je z oryginalnymi rysunkami Jana Samuela Beckera, aby zidentyfikować podobieństwa i różnice między obecnie trwającym projektem odnowienia a pierwszą gruntowną przebudową pałacu w XVIII wieku. Konieczność stworzenia środowiska muzealnego przy pałacu jako zabytku kulturowego jest oczywista, ale rodzi też pytanie o jego wartość. Wiąże się to z ogólniejszymi problemami związanymi z odnawianiem zabytków architektonicznych i ich rolą w życiu kulturalne, społecznym i gospodarczym miasta i kraju. Dlatego też przyjrzyjmy się także przykładom udanego przywracania dziedzictwa architektonicznego na Białorusi i przeanalizujmy podobne inicjatywy w Polsce.
