dc.abstract.enThe topic of the bachelor's thesis is the social situation of Poles in Berlin between 1989 and 2018, when they constitute the second largest group of migrants in the German capital. The bachelor thesis includes statistical data on the number of Poles in Berlin and their socio-demographic characteristics. It also includes an analysis of self-reflection by Alice Bota-co-author of the book We new Germans (Wir neuen Deutschen). The author describes the specific type of identity that the new generation of migrants from the so-called Migrationshintergrund has developed. The analysis is based on the method of critical discourse analysis and the concepts: “Selbstbild- self-images and ‘Fremdbild’- perceptions of Others, and the subject matter of the work fits into the research area of imagology.

dc.abstract.otherDas Thema der Bachelorarbeit ist die soziale Situation der Polen in Berlin zwischen 1989 und 2018, wo sie die zweitgrößte Migrantengruppe in der deutschen Hauptstadt darstellen. Der Beitrag umfasst statistische Daten über die Anzahl der Polen in Berlin und ihre soziodemografischen Merkmale sowie eine Analyse der Selbstreflexion von Alice Bota - Mitautorin des Buches Wir neuen Deutschen. Die Autorin beschreibt die spezifische Art der Identität, die die neue Generation von Migranten aus dem sogenannten Migrationshintergrund entwickelt hat. Die Analyse stützt sich auf die Methode der kritischen Diskursanalyse und die Konzepte: „Selbstbild“ und ‚Fremdbild‘, und die Themen der Arbeit sind Teil des Forschungsfeldes der Imagologie.
dc.abstract.plTematem pracy jest sytuacja społeczna Polaków w Berlinie w latach 1989-2018, kiedy stanowią oni drugą co wielkości grupę migrantów w stolicy Niemiec. Praca zawiera dane statystyczne na temat liczby Polaków w Berlinie i ich socjo-demograficznych cech oraz analizę autorefleksji Alice Bota- współautorki książki My nowi Niemcy (Wir neuen Deutschen). Autorka opisuje specyficzny rodzaj tożsamości, które wykształciło nowe pokolenie migrantów z tzw. Migrationshintergrund. Analiza opiera się na metodzie krytycznej analizy dyskursu oraz na konceptach: “Selbstbild”- własnego wizerunku oraz “Fremdbild”- wizerunku zewnętrznego, a tematyka pracy wpisuje się w obszar badawczy imagologii.
